Free Equipment for Schools!
The Canucks for Kids Fund is on a mission to give every BC student the chance to play floor hockey! We are donating specially designed floor hockey equipment to schools across the province in support of floor hockey programs. Phases 1 & 2 involve providing donated equipment and floor hockey training programs run by Sport For Life, serving over 70 schools and reaching 20,000 students in the province. Phase 3 will be launching in 2025 and we want your school to join the fun!
Canucks for Kids Fund and Floor Hockey
The Canucks for Kids Fund supports Junior Canucks Floor Hockey with the goal of inspiring physical literacy and fostering love for the sport of hockey.
Every school in British Columbia is eligible to register for free. Participating schools receive a comprehensive floor hockey kit including floor hockey sticks, balls, coaching plans, and instructional guides. In future, we also plan to support the addition of instructional video content from certified hockey professionals to supplement the curriculum provided by Sport For Life.
Floor hockey’s safe and inclusive design makes it perfect for kids of all skill levels and ages. Our donation supports physical education classes by providing the tools and guidance needed to introduce this engaging sport to your students.

More Than Just Floor Hockey
Junior Canucks Floor Hockey doesn’t just promote physical activity—it also teaches valuable life skills.
The Vancouver Canucks are proud to introduce the DREAM Poster and Program, which offers a classroom lesson focused on what it takes to be a great teammate and student. Students will explore key principles—Discipline, Respect, Excellence, Attitude, and Mindset—and discover how these values align with Canucks ideals both on and off the floor.

Please note registration does not guarantee delivery as we work to grow the game regionally, and for those schools in need. We anticipate all schools getting gear by April 2026.
